Yule Blessings to All

Please accept my sincere and best wishes for a wonderfully warm and blessed Yule. I send a hug to each and every one of my dear blogging friends, followers and readers. This time of year, though it is dark, dreary, sometimes bleak, is also a great time to think about plans for the coming year, setting goals, giving a thought or two to what you would like to change, improve, get rid of, study; or to try out new things. While the snow blows (if you get snow where you live) spend time with the family, explore new hobbies, new authors, new pursuits. It is the best time to look inward and see what you can see. This is what I plan to do. I really want to expand my Wiccan practice by studying the areas of divination/scrying and perhaps adding a few new things to enhance spellwork. Plan now to put into practice later in the year. The one thing you can be sure of is that the Wheel keeps turning. Be ready for whatever that may bring!

On a personal note, my Yule plans are a bit thrown off kilter by caretaking duties for my brother. Add to that, my husband hurt his back yesterday and he is out of action for a while. Not quite sure how the rest of the holidays are going to go, but there is always a quick moment to light a candle, play some appropriate music and think about the Solstice, the God and the Goddess and be glad in that very moment. It is somewhat difficult at this time to have the usual festivities, but the important thing is that we are together. There has been no opportunity to decorate or get the tree up or bake. Hopefully a delayed celebration sometime later as my brother recovers more.

Blessed Yule, sweet friends!

Solstice greetings and blessings to you and yours. This Yule will be different for us as well. No commercialism. Just the closeness of family and friends. Good food, good laughs, good company. I'm looking forward to it.

Yule Blessings to you as well dear lady. Just as on Thanksgiving, we will have to celebrate both Yule and Christmas not on the traditional days but ....... when Sweet Man can join us. But you know that the day is as important and meaningful as we make it. No matter when we actually get to do what we do. Love and light BB, Oma Linda

Happy Yule to you and yours. You and your family are together and that is the magical occurrence this Yule. Sometimes simplicity (forced or not) is a blessing in itself. Enjoy your quiet rituals and your holiday. The longest night is behind us now!

We are spending the holidays with family too as we always do every year (both families). With our parents getting up in years, it is even more important to everyone as family is, after all, the most important thing of all!

Enjoy your Holidays with everyone and have a very Blessed Yule/Christmas!

Hugs back to you, my dear friend,

Kim

I find myself missing the snow something fierce this year; I never thought I'd see the day. :) May you have a merry yule and a happy holiday season with your family. I know things may be a bit different, but somehow I just know you guys will still have a wonderful time. *hugs*

Robin, well, what does one say, now.
Let me help if I can. Anything you need I'm here for you. Hubby hurt his back, not a good thing with all that's going on.

I'm down the road. Thinking of you.

Thankfully it finally turns towards longer days, 6,5 hours of daylight as we have here where I live is way to little for me.

I never make plans for the coming year, I prefere to take the day as it comes :-) If an opportunity to do something comes I'll take it if I think it's worth it :-)

Well that wasn't entierly true, I do plan the sowing of seeds for new plants, trees and bushes in my garden, but that's it :-)

HYave a great day!
Christer.
