Today will be an indoor kind of day, tidying up, confronting laundry and reading. Possibly a baking of a cake. A small fire in the woodstove to take away the chill. Burning the new candle. And thinking about Beltane next week. That is a very cheerful thought!

LOL! I know exactly what you mean, Robin. I do not and never have felt comfortable with any kind of "change." UGH! But, never-the-less we must endure!

The change in Blogger and Gmail, too, has been unsettling. Like you, I'm not crazy about changes that are just shoved down my throat--it would be nice if they gave us a choice to keep the old ways if we wanted to. I'm not crazy about the new look. I particularly dislike the lack of contrast, which is really hard to deal with for someone with bad eyes like yours truly.

You can't help but be impacted by all the "head" games that google, blogger, gmail have going on. They are the devil's minions....so just in case your weren't informed. hehehehehhe. I have been getting a strange error message everytime I go to my blogs page....but I ignored it and it went away. I'll probably wake up tomorrow and my blog will be in another language and I won't know my password anymore. Ces la vie.
We had icky weather last week, stayed indoors lots....this week sun and yardwork but lots of wind. Yesterday I saw my very first hummingbird......so maybe that's a good sign.

The day changed from grey, cold and damp to mostly sunny and rather warm :-) So I cleaned the cottage and scrubbed the floors. I also leaned towards the old dead plum tree so it fell :-)

LOVE that face! Gonna be a wet and windy day here in the Northeast and honestly, I'm looking forward to having a "p.j. day". That's what we call it around here. I have a couple of things I'd like to get done by way of some Spring cleaning, and I'm hoping this coffee with kickstart my ass, we'll see. Enjoy your day.
A drastic change in the weather here too! a 20 degree drop in just a few hours, and a large amount of rain!
