Around the blog-o-sphere this morning I see bunches of blogs greeting October with elation! It seems everyone loves October for myriad reasons, culminating with the most sacred Samhain observances (Halloween).
Even as I type these words on this first day of October, I can hear a flock of crows cawing their messages to each other not far away. With the trees turning, there is that frisson of excitement, that unnameable sense of mystery, myth and wonder.

I dearly love autumn and October is my favorite month out of the year.
