My brother is still in the hospital, though improving. A few issues have come up, so they are addressing those, and hopefully he will be home soon. He could use the rest! Hospitals are very noisy places and trying to sleep can be a challenge! Especially when the patient in the other bed snores like a Guinness world record seeker for Loudest Snoring in a Small Space! We have had some light moments, for sure.
As a public service, I will NOT be re-posting my delightful and charmingly witty Halloween jokes from last October. For those who are curious, though, and would enjoy some great Halloween "corn" here is the link to that post: Mine Eyes Have Seen the Gory

Glad to hear your brother is improving and you are keeping your upbeat attitude Robin! Best Wishes to you and yours!
I'm so happy to hear that your brother is on-the-mend. I do agree that hospitals are not the place to sleep. In fact, I've often thought here at my new office site that it sounds like a hospital. Take care of yourself, too, my friend. Glad you posted. I've missed you.

You'd think that hospitals would understand the restorative power of sleep and quiet better than they do. It's impossible to sleep there. I hope your brother's home soon!
Good to hear from you and get an update on your brother. Hope you are taking care as well. Sending love and light, Oma Linda
Hugs and blessings to you as well. Take care.
Blessings, V.
Sending my best wishes to you and your brother and family. Hope he's getting better quickly :)

So glad you posted - was just going to email you to see how everything was going with your brother. Glad to hear there is improvement and hopefully he will be home soon and able to sleep. Hospitals are noisy and the lights are always on. No place to sleep. I can never get enough halloween humor so I'll check out your link, candy-corny or not!!
xxoo
Good that Your brother is improving! I have had both luck and unluck when it comes to hospitals. The worst time was when I had to share a room with a man that only wanted to talk about how cheap the prostitues were in eastern Europe!!! It was impossible to make him stop talking :-) :-) :-)
Have a great day!
Christer.
I am glad to hear that your brother is gradually improving. My heart goes out to you and your family and you are in my thoughts and prayers!
Blessings,
Kim
Robin, so happy to hear from you and I am so happy to hear that your brother is doing better! Be well my friend!
Robin, I forgot to tell you, I loved the jokes, especially the one about being allergic to wool! Too funny!
So glad your better is doing better. And I hope the guy stops snoring; my brother and my little brother snore so loud that I had to move out to keep my sanity--no joke--so I know how irritating that can be.
I love the pics from last year, and I'm in love with this flying witch. Is is from a book?
Hi Robin,
I hope your brother will be back home with you soon.
All the best to both of you.
xoxo Ingrid
I am so glad you brother has made improvement and I hope he goes home soon. I hate hospitals. You can never get any rest.
I love your recycled images. For me they are new as I was not blogging last Halloween so what a treat! Hugs, sweet friend.
