While reading some of my favorite blogs over the last two or three days, I have been amused, sad, concerned, shocked, angered, happy, and even received some doses of spring fever. A lot going on with folks in the blog-o-sphere. In this on-line community, we share our lives with each other and receive love and support. I am proud to call many of these bloggers "friend", even though we most likely will never meet in the "real world".
Sometimes you never know what you are going to read on a blog. There are often very educational and interesting posts, anecdotal and moving posts, friendly reminders, humorous relatings of day-to-day life. I follow several artists and crafters and it is amazing to read about their work, follow the projects, see the finished examples of brilliance!
There are fun blog parties, giveaways and seasonal celebrations. Many great photographers out there too. I enjoy seeing photos from your neck of woods, seeing your pets, your gardens, your travels. My blogging neighborhood is a great place to hang out! I always love seeing new posts, meeting new followers, finding new bloggers. I am always inspired and never bored. Thanks to all who make my world a better place. (Hope you didn't find this post overly sentimental, saccharine or "smarmy")
Group Hug!

You know I was thinking about how great this group is. It's pretty rare that you find online groups as great as this one. I've met a fantastic group of people who, as you said, I can call friends!
Thanks for the group hug and sweet thoughts Robin! :-D
You know it is refreshing to find that when you click on someone else's blog that they too are "touched" by the experience of blogging. (in a good noncrazy way of course). And my BB dear, you of all people could never be smarmy....it ain't in ya. xoxo Oma Linda
It always makes me smile like a fool to see that I'm not the only one that loves this group of ours so much. I can't quite recall how we all found each other over the years, but I'm awfully glad that we did. :) *big cheesy group hug*
Yeah, blogging is great, isn't it? Count me in on the Group Hug!
Robin!!!! What a beautiful post! I agree with everything you said! Hugs right back at you! I love his photo so much!!! My friend, mom and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Everything you said on my blog meant so much to us! We love ya my friend! Ok, now I am getting overly sentimental ;o) Be well and many blessings to you!
Yes we are many friends that might never meet each other :-)
I look at my blogging world as if we all were a bunch of neighbours, many of those reading my blog also read the other blogs I read, so we are like people in a little village :-)
Some of us live close in the village and some a bit further away but we all meet every now and again :-) and the spam comments we get is those annoying telemarketers that never give up no matter how much we try them to do so :-) :-)
Have a great day!
Christer.
You're so right. It's amazing how much I look forward to hearing from 'regulars' As more and more join, you really have to strategize visiting and I hate when I miss an old friend who now has 8-10 posts I've missed! But, then that becomes my catch-up day for them and I blitz them with comments. LOVE the photo. Thanks and, as always, come visit when you can.
Just trying to catch up with all my favorite friends today and how joyous to see this post! I agree so much with you and want to apologize for falling so behind. I have not felt well and just doing more than the daily requirements can be very taxing. Please do not take my absence as lack a interest or affection, dear friend. Sending many hugs to you. Mina
A truly wonderful community this is! And I feel truly blessed to be a part of it. ♥
