We had a relaxed evening, with his favorite food, and homemade chocolate chip cookies, and a bit of whiskey.
Now for a good night's sleep, perhaps.
Sleep that knits up the ravelled sleave of care
The death of each day's life, sore labour's bath
Balm of hurt minds, great nature's second course,
Chief nourisher in life's feast.

ReplyDeleteI am sorry I am late! You and your hubby have been in our thoughts! I know everything will go well! The only thing that I don't understand, is that, your husband was able to eat? My mom has had this operation, and she couldn't eat for 2 days and had to drink that stuff, that cleans out the intestines, before the operation. Even for me, when I had my test, I went a day with out eating and I had to drink the same stuff. Maybe things have changed? Big Hugs you two ;o) Love ya!
ReplyDeleteOh Robin, I didn't get on the computer last night to check everyone's posts. But, this is after the fact now that I just read your post from today. My fingers, toes and eyes will be crossed for the surgery for next time! HUGS!
