"Whilst August yet wears her golden crown,
Ripening fields lush- bright with promise;
Summer waxes long, then wanes, quietly passing
Her fading green glory on to riotous Autumn."

Savor these last days of August; summer may be nearing its close, but many beautiful memories are still to be made.
Blessings from Robin.

Ah well said, Robin. August usually flies by for me. I need to take the time to appreciate it. Thank you!
Wonderfully written, alas here in Texas I can't wish August away soon enough! Most days this month have been 105 and over. :( It is October that is the month I savor every moment of.
Blessings Robin! August has went very fast for me this year! I do need to breathe and savor the last bit of the month ;o)
This month has flown by and yet it has dragged on.... Have tried to savor what August has brought, but when the temperature is over a 100 (plus heat index) every day, it's hard for a person to savor the days. But I promise I will savor the days next week in a cooler climate and with family around.
Beauty in the photo and the words.
Hard to believe that September is right around the corner. I have to say, I will be glad to see it come. This heat and humidity is really wearing me down.

It has been beautiful these past days but I have not been outside! Shame on me! This is truly what I needed to hear. I can feel the Autumn coming and should enjoy the beauty around me now. Autumn is my favorite season but still I should enjoy the beauty of the moment. Anyway this has been a very good wake up call! Thanks!

I for one am thrilled to feel the Autumn chill in the air and am ready to bid farewell to Summer. I invite the snow, sledding, snow fort building, snowball fights and warm fires with hot coffee. Yay!
