What magical blooms! Aern't the first ones always the most exciting?
I wanted to thank you for the recommendation of "The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane". I just finished it and Wow! Wonderful read. I loved the depth of knowledge the writer portrayed in the history of Puritan witchcraft and the horrid treatment of those accused. Considering it flipped between centuries, it was surprisingly easy to follow compared to others like it I have read. Thanks again, my sweet friend.
Those are lovely! I'm not sure if I'll get roses or not. I have one planted - Joseph's Coat rugosa. I'm not a big fan of roses, but this one just is so pretty. I'm hoping!

I would like to have a clematis like that but none that looks like that is hardy here.
The thunderstorm yesterday made things come alive here :-) Three different irises are now in bloom :-)
