"I wonder if
the sap is stirring yet,
If wintry birds are dreaming of a mate,
If frozen snowdrops feel as yet the sun
And crocus fires are kindling one by one:
Sing robin, sing:
I still am sore in doubt concerning Spring."

Let's everyone give a cheer that the month of March is here! It is snowing right now, but I don't care as much now that March has arrived, and the Spring Equinox is within our grasp!!
The last three or four mornings I have been awakened by the chatter of sparrows near the window. A most cheerful sound. There is still winter all around us, but that bit of excitement of Spring's arrival is beginning to stir a bit. Don't listen to weather forecasts!!
And try not to be in doubt concerning Spring!

In years past there have been but a few folks blogging about being anxious for spring but this year, I think it is all of us. Come on Spring, is the chant.
It's like there was a trip wire somewhere in the universe and we all stepped on it.....this better be a good one or I can't imagine what will happen.
Hope the birds keep giving you encouraging peeps to focus on. My bird feeders are just gang up full of the varmits. That kinda scares me, it could me that they are getting ready for the "big one" snow storm.....or maybe they are just stocking up for mating season. I'm picking the later. So Hello March.
xoxo to you BB, Oma Linda
Not much longer now! As you said, the Spring Equinox is within our grasp!
And the time till then shall quickly pass.
p.s. I saw a robin in our yard in early February - not sure what he was doing, just a tad bit too early for the worms!
Hooray March!
I keep wishing for an early spring :-) But I fear winter will stay for at least the rest of March. But spring will come, sooner or later :-)
Have a great day!
Christer.
I never count on Spring being here in Canada until the May 24th long weekend.
Ostara can't get here soon enough! For me that has always been the truest harbinger of spring and I look forward to setting up my candles and baking some eggy bread.
Hoping you and your husband are doing well.
I am dreaming of a mate ;o) LOL! Actually, in my dream last night, he was very tall and mysterious, wearing all black. Hmmmmm..maybe he will visit again ;o) Ok, I am off topic! LOL! I have been hearing the birds in the morning too! We were hit bad with two snow storms this week. I think we are done! Maybe? LOL! Big Hugs Robin and I am so happy you got the card and aceo ;o) You are very special to me ;o)
Woohoo to spring.
