Cue the Hallelujah Chorus

He is HOME!

I brought my husband home from the hospital this afternoon!!

He will still need a lot of care and convalescence, but just being home will scare away those hospital blues!

And he is home in time for the Final Four Basketball Tournament tonight, where Syracuse is gonna kick some butt!

Happy Times!!!

I bet your whole family is thrilled to have your Husband finally home. Now the real healing will begin. You have been through a very rough few months & despite all the setbacks you both persevered and made it to the other side as survivors. I hope being home encourages your Husband to eat well so he can heal from all the surgeries and get his strength back. There is no place like home and I am sure he will be thinking that as he drifts off to sleep in his own bed in peace & quiet. It may take a bit to get used to not hearing all the beeping and constant hospital white noise - I hope not.
Make sure he does not leap up & down during the game if the refs make some bad calls. Nothing like a good game to take your mind off serious things.
I'm sooo happy for you! It's about time good things started to happen for you.

This is so good to hear, Robin. Wish Syracuse had come through! But thank goodness he is home and will now get better with time. Ann
