Autumn Bound!!

Just a couple of more days until the Autumnal Equinox (Mabon)! Subtle colors are showing on the trees and the nights are just that little bit nippy.

The Syracuse area Pagan Pride Festival is taking place on Saturday, Sept 21st. Can't wait to go!!

Pulling out the fall sweaters and sweatshirts, and even got some new socks, baby....in autumn colors.

This time of year makes a witch's heart full.  Very inspiring, don't you agree?

On the homefront this morning, our kittens sliced open the bottom of the screen on the slider, and slipped out into the backyard. Since they are indoor cats, and we have traffic on two sides of our house, naturally I went into panic mode. We have a fence, but they can squeeze under, or climb up. They actually teased us by staying under the deck for a long while, ignoring the opening of a tin of cat food, the shaking of the treats container, the beaming of the laser pointing and the shaking of the feather wand. But finally they were ready to get out of the sun and muddiness under the deck and scrambled back in the open door which I slammed shut behind. Now they have spent about 45 minutes grooming!

Happy Birthday to my kid brother today!!! He lives in Virginia so I am sending him loving energy and birthday happiness!!

Pumpkins and mums are in my very near future. And pulling out the decorations for fall, because we are Autumn-Bound!!

Friday greetings! Hugs from Robin.

Thank goodness the cats are okay! Always a panic for us too when ours wander. Happy Autumn to you - favourite season. x

Those naughty kitties!!! Glad they got back in. Last night I had the most incredible view of the Harvest Moon rising over the hills here. Of course I didn't have my camera! Going the same route tonight, will take camera just in case this time. Ann

I love your enthusiast tone in this post. Fall does that to me too. I am coming out of doldrum that has kept me from myself for far too long. And your post was just what I needed to happy up.
Gosh, I know how terrifying it can be when our furry kids misbehave and give us worry. Shame on those naughty kittens. What they did is exactly why we put one of those ugly screen guards on our screens. Mr. Sunny Bunny continued to escape by any means. But I foiled his evil plot and now don't have to worry with the little Uma kitten. She just sticks he paw out of the screen a waves at whatever she sees in the yards.
Happy Fall adventuring my friend. Oma Linda

I am so excited for Autumn.
Last night I spent just a little time under the Harvest Moon, being thankful that this time is coming upon us once again. My Favorite time of year...When the leaves are of gold, red, and brown...Pumpkin is everywhere, the Moon is bright, and the air is crisp.

I have begun pulling out all of my Autumn clothes and putting the shorts and short sleeves away...This San Diego air is actually getting cooler and I couldn't be more thrilled.

Quite an adventure for the Kittens! And a good game too. :0) Sneaky little things...
Have fun at the Pagan Pride Festival! I'm a vendor again this year at the one in Denver. Looking forward to it.
Leaves here are beginning to show color around the edges. Won't be long before it's a riot of color outside.

Frost in some places here this morning and fog as well. Quite a nice morning.

That's just typical when our pets escape like that :-) Nothing else is exiting even if they love it indoors :-) I'm glad everything had a happy ending :-)

No pumpkin here but I have two mums now :-) I'm hoping they will sell some pumpkins this year so I can buy one to have on the entrance stairs :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.

Oh that story of kitties getting out scared me. Luckily I have double doors front and back. Yesterday I opened the back door and Molly went racing past me. She's never done that before.

Autumn, my favorite season so excited it's finally here.
