A Lexie Update

Our Lexie thought we were the meanest people on earth. She was not allowed food or drink after 6:00 pm last night. And, worse, no doggy biscuit this morning. Dogs can be very melodramatic. Hardening our hearts is not easy when those big sad eyes are pleading.

Anyway, her surgery this morning went well. It took longer than our vet expected as he found a suspicious mass. He did get out all the infection and that should make things a lot better for her. Now we have to wait for the results of the culture to know if we move into an issue we don't want to deal with.

Right now it is very positive thoughts we are thinking, and that's all there is to it.

Oh, I am so glad that the surgery went well! I was sending positive thoughts and wrapping her in white light throughout the day.

Keeping fingers crossed for her other results!

Blessings,

So glad this is over for Lexie - and her parents. Relax and enjoy this time. Hopefully that whole thing about dogs and their memories will work in your favor.

I've known Lexie since she was a pup with her eyes not open. I was the first "human" she laid her big sad eyes on and the start of a love affair after almost 11 years. I'm Robin's friend and was the one who helped Lexie get placed with Robin and family after her first owner could no longer care for her.

A match made in heaven for Robin, and Lexie's love for me has never waivered, not one bit. All Robin says is true, and my heart breaks for her right now. Positive thoughts and so much love for such a special dog.

Lexie should take council with our 3, the other day, between them and the cats, they got into a box of biscuits, ate the whole darn thing! Silly buggers!! So glad surgery is done and she's recovering well. Fingers crossed the mass is nothing to worry about.

I had to come here before the match to see if there was any news. Bot good and somewhat worrying I see. But we all hope that no decisions has to be taken!

Positive thoughts from us!

Christer.

Oh Robin, I am so sorry to be so late in catching up with your posts and want to send healing energy to your precious Lexie. I know it is such a helpless feeling when our furry loves are ill and I hope from the bottom of my heart that her culture is normal. Hugs always, sweetie. Mina
