Monday Medley--Robin wins an E-Book!

Does it drive you nuts that I am always changing my blog backgrounds? I like to have a seasonal kind of look. And sometimes there are special occasions. So I go to the blogger template area and browse their offerings. I am not techno-creative, you know, so I can't make my own stuff, or headers or buttons and all those neat, but totally confusing-to-me additions.

Anyway, guess what? I won an e-book!! Totally unexpected. It was all part of Magaly Guerrero's blog event. She is that terrific witchy writer, you know. Her blog is here: Pagan Culture  She has just released her latest story "AlmaMia Cienfuegos" and had 13 days of celebration. Visiting different blogs each day. Fun for all. The day Magaly visited Stacy's blog Magic Love Crow I left a comment there, and that's how I won my own e-book copy of Magaly's wonderful story. You should go visit Magaly's blog to find out all about her book and other writings.  Big thanks and hugs to Magaly and to Stacy too!

Now you know I don't have an e-reader, eek! Fortunately though my son Nicarus was home when I received Magaly's email with my gift from Amazon.com. He clicked through all the "stuff" and downloaded a PC e-reader function for my laptop. I didn't even know you could do that! (See, I know nothing, Jon Snow!) (oh, the Jon Snow thing is a reference to "Game of Thrones" in case you haven't read the book). Am I rambling? Yes, but never mind!!

Let's all of us have a really great week. Safe, sound, happy & healthy! Blessings & hugs from Robin.

Congrats on your prize. I love seeing the different backgrounds. This one is great. Love it. It's so bright and cheerful. I'm like you. I love changing my looks, but not very techno-creative myself. Thank goodness there are so many out there who offer them.

Hey Robin, I love your rambling! Keep rambling!!! ;o) You know, I am not good with backgrounds and banners and buttons either! If it wasn't for the help of my sister-in-law on my blog, I probably be having nothing! LOL! I actually looked at the background you are using now! I love it! I thought they should have had little creatures in the dirt ;o) LOL! Now look who's rambling? LOL! Congrats on the win ;o) Yeh! I love the cartoon you posted! Hope you are joining in the fun with Oma Linda, return to Oz ;o) Big Hugs ;o)

Congratulations! I've never had an e-book but I know one could download a PC e-reader :-)

I'm a bit boring in that way that I never remembers what the backgrounds look like :-) So I never notice any changes :-) This one looks good though!

Have a great day!
Christer.

*Squeeee!!* Games of Thrones reference! Oh Jon Snow... *swoon* ;-)

Congratulations, Robin! I don't have an e-reader either, so I read Magaly's fantastic story on my computer too.

Also, I've been a terrible friend and haven't had a chance to email you between work/headcold/puppy breath. My package made it to me safe and sound, just a day or so after one from Oma Linda. I love everything very much (luna & the kitties did too!) but the charm bag made me tear up and has been on my altar or under my pillow since it came here - that's where it seems to want to be. Thank you so much for being such a great friend and thoughtful witchy woman. It really means more to me than I can express in a comment. *hugs*
