Somebody, please.....?!

The week has flown by, can't believe how fast October is going. A fantastic almost full moon last night, looking like a Halloween moon, with clouds floating in front, and some tall trees bare of leaves. Very inspiring for dark and not-so dark thoughts!

Still no word on when we will close on our property....sigh. I think our paperwork is sitting on somebody's desk, under a pile of real estate catalogs!

A terrible confession: I purchased a dag-gone Christmas magazine this week. What am I thinking? Not even Halloween yet, and I am looking at holiday decorating. Somebody knock me upside the head, please.

I am a fan obsessed. My beloved "Outlander" books, by Diana Gabaldon, the Scottish-based story of time travel, historical romance and mystery, are being brought to life, even as I type this as a series for Starz cable channel. I have been following the process on various web sites and agonizingly waiting for the March 2014 debut of the series on Starz. The eighth book in the series is due out in March as well. Can somebody get me a brown paper bag to breathe into please?

Just two weeks till Samhain/Halloween. My witchy sense is tingling!

Even I have now two pumpkins and will buy a third tomorrow :-) They are pretty heavy really :-)

I'm not always happy when they make a film or tv series of favorite books of mine, one never knows if they will be good or if one will get angry because they change it too much :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.

My friend, you are not alone. Although I didn't purchase a Christmas magazine, I did press 'like' for a Christmas site on Facebook....and every year I harp that Christmas comes too early. Shame on me. LOL!!

Do you not have lawyers involved in the land transaction? Or is it done differently in the US? If you have lawyers on the deal, get them to sharpen their fangs!

Hey, you are being proactive!!! ;-)

I can't imagine the anxiety of waiting to close... all the freaking paper work, signatures, just too much.

I agree, October is going by waaaay too fast for my liking. Slow down please!! Let me enjoy. I wait all year for this month and here we are, middle of it...

The Moon is beautiful isn't She? She is currently peeking in my kitchen window with the clouds scudding right on by Her. Love, love, love it!

Hopefully the close will happen soon!! Hurry up land people, Robin needs to share some pictures!! :)

It's nice to think about the holiday season although I must admit that when we saw the christmas display in our local supermarket in AUGUST I wasn't best pleased!

Oh it must be so hard to wait and not have a definitive date set for closing....I hate waiting. Don't do it very well either.
I've not read your fave books...hmmm might have to do some looking into that series.
And good for you on the magazine. Heck fire, if that's what you enjoy then why be guilty. Life is too short not to do what makes ya happy. Right? Well within reason and the current laws of the land that is, tee hee.
Have a lovely and blessed full moon dear one, Oma Linda

Outlander on Starz...be still my heart. Can't wait either. Love the new header you have up. So October. Yea, this month has flown by and I'm knee deep in sewing costumes for my grandchildren. Sequins everywhere to include dragon skins. LOL Merry Meet and Blessings to you and those you love.

Beautiful photo of the moon. I see a ring around the moon - I bet you get some moisture soon. :0)
So sorry it's taking so long for your property closing. I know it can be very frustrating. Hopefully soon....
Love the image of Halloween & Christmas! :0)

I'm going to look up that series.
Sounds like a great combination of people, places and things to make a epic story. So happy for you, and to live in the woods. I'm sure the animals are pleased its you!

I had to laugh, as I am chomping at the bit to get out my Christmas decor in my shop, but fearful that lots of people will hate me if I do...lol! xo
