Company's Coming

Cleaning, straightening, organizing, cleaning and ad infinitum.

A very dear friend, who is godmother to both our offspring, is arriving this Thursday for a visit. And daughter raethan is taking the train in for a quick visit to see her godmother. We are hoping for an overnight or two at AutumnWood. That will be a wild time, I assure you!

So I am burning incense and listening to Jethro Tull. Takes me right back to my high school days, lol! But it is very soothing, especially when one of the most favorite of songs come on ("Broadsword", "Song from the Woods", "Living in the Past" etcetera). Music and aromas, two very strong resources for meditation, relaxing and magickal practices. I must have music. And sandalwood is my go-to incense. What about you?

I am feeling great.

Welcome back. You have been missed. I am so glad to hear that your hubby is doing well. That's very good news. I was quite concerned when you disappeared, and I had somehow deleted my entire list of contacts on Yahoo so I had no way to get in touch.

Again, let me say I am very glad to see you are back.

It's good to see you at the top of my blog roll, Robin! It sounds like you will be having a really nice time when your friend visits.

My favourite incense is cedar, although I'm also fond of sandalwood, jasmine and patchouli. Music is a must for me too. Right now I'm listening to Portuguese Fado music. Not that I speak the language, of course. But you get the gist through the emotional delivery of the lyrics.

I'm not a fan of sandlewood and Jethro tull I'm afraid. But I do like to listen to Enya when I want to take it easy and stay calm :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.

Sandalwood brings me back to my high school days. I had a compact of perfume with 3 compartments and one compartment had sandalwood and one had patchouli. Not sure about the third scent.

Isn't it amazing how scent can evoke memories long past?
