Ascending from the Murky Depths

Huh? "Ascending from the Murky Depths"?

Oh, that's just me being melodramatic.

I am feeling a lot better today, though I really got hit hard by this dang cold. And now here it is, two days before Thanksgiving. Have not done the food shopping yet. The house is a disaster. Pies must be baked. Cranberry sauce needs cooking.
I have a lot of blog reading to catch up on and emails to answer.

But, the good news is I have family members to lasso. They will pitch in at the last minute and all will be well.

And I do give thanks for that!!

Glad you're on the mend. My husband had that cold a few weeks ago, you'd have thought his number was up :)

Now stuff that turkey!

Sorry to hear you have been under the weather. A nasty cold can make one feel pretty darned miserable. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Fingers crossed you are feeling MUCH better by this afternoon and you can get stuck into all the festive preparing! My boy is home today with a nasty cold too, so its making its rounds. I am sending you some of my virtual home made ginger tea, with honey for the sweet person you are! Take care!

Oh....I hate colds. I always feel bad emotionally when I'm physically sick. Hope you feel 100% soon! So glad you have help with the dinner!!

I bet those 2 kittens would pitch in with "help" if you asked them to.

Don't overdo! Delegate the work! Besides, it's always more fun having someone in the kitchen to visit with while the cooking is happening! :0)
Enjoy yourself!
