The Glitches and the Power Outages

Oh, people, I have had a terrible time this morning trying to get my computer to do what it is supposed to do. Firefox kept crashing (at least 4 times in a row). So, I shut down the laptop, got a cup of coffee, turned the ding dong thing back on. Wait. Wait. Wait. Finally, up and running, seemingly. Just seconds away from logging into my email, and "Blam" the power went out. A minute or two later, the power came back on, then, right back off again. About three minutes later, the power is back on. Still on. Waiting. Should I turn on the computer? Wait. Still on. Okay. Turned the computer back on. Got another cup of coffee and a book.

So here I am about an hour later, answered one email and signed into blogger. I will attempt to read some blogs. Completely forgot my plans for today's post. Just happy to be here at all.

Have a great Wednesday. Hopefully, I will see you tomorrow.

Argh, my kittens are having their surgeries tomorrow. Wish us all luck.

UGH! Sorry to hear about the computer troubles! Been there for sure. Not fun.

I will be thinking of you and your "kits" today and wishing them a speedy recovery. I am sure they will be fine. It is utterly amazing how resiliant kittens are!

Big hugs,

Kim

Hello Dear!
Sorry you're having so many tech probs...geesh already!
Thanks for the note this morning, and for your care and concern...I love you for that and a million other things too! :)
Stay safe, feel loved and don't worry about the rest...I know how hard it is not to get caught up in the outer world stuff, it's hard to ignore some days, eh?
I probably won't be on much these last few days before Thanksgiving...I've much to do and little time to do it in...just popping in now and then, so have a peaceful, joyous, and wonderful Thanksgiving with your furbabes, and family and know that I'll be thinking of you!
Much Love and Many Peaceful Blessings...

Have you explained the "Mercury in retrograde" thingy to your kittens? Or are you just going to drop them off and act surprised when you pick them up?

Ah, computers, what a blessing and a curse they are, aren't they dearie!? (My guess is that they are probably still working on the power and had to shut it down for just a moment or two.) Sending positive thoughts to you, your computer and your precious kittens. XO S.O.and P.

We are so attached to computers, phones, electricity to run it all. When its not there one is often "lost" disconnected. Whats a person to do?

Sorry about your power issues. I feel so cut off when it happens to me. Fortunately, I have been very lucky with both power and internet services. Give those kitties a hug for me.

Yes that sure is aggravating when the power goes in and out! I know what you mean about Firefox too..that is why I am now back to Internet Explorer once again. Hope your time on the computer has smoothly since ;)

Mercury Retro. strikes again. I get so frustrated when computer issues happen esp. if they're one of my life lines to the outside world. Glad you were able to post this and sending lots of blessings to your furbabies for healing.

Oh I can totally feel your pain on this one. In Florida, especially 'Central Florida - Lightening Capitol of the US'....the electricity is ALWAYS going on and off. That wreaks havoc on computers and electronics needless to say. But ours goes on and off for no reason whatsoever on any given day. And I've done the exact same thing you did. Thought for sure my computer was fried, but luckily it kept on ticking. Glad you finally to stay on yours for a reasonable amount of time. Good luck with the kittens! :o)
