It feels like Monday to me too Robin...I was talking with the City Clerk's office where I live in regards to our county elections coming up and said something about me being blonde and it being Monday, and then we both realized my blunder and really got a good giggle. Crikey!
It was 103 here yesterday without the heat index so I stayed in until 8 p.m. and then went out to water my plants. Other than that I spent the day inside in the a.c. doing not much of anything really.
No barbeque's although yours sounds so delicious...and that pie!

Sorry to hear about your Gwennie being so afraid of the fireworks. That can be so hard on them. My dog used to go through the same thing when he was still alive. I felt so sorry for him. No amount of comforting him helped. And the laws...I don't know how they can possibly enforce them with them going off all over the cities. They are illegal in my state too, but they sell them. Makes no sense!
Well, I hope this extreme heat leaves us soon...we are all becoming bedraggled, aren't we? I'm tired of being a prisoner indoors! How about you?
