Soggy Sunday

Rain, rain and more rain. But the temperature is mild, possibly up to 70 degrees F today. Another good day for indoor tasks and watching the kittens explore the house. I talked about this on my other blog, PurrrrSnicKitty (link on sidebar).

Gwennie simply cannot accept the fact that kittens are now living with us. She is always looking at me with pleading eyes or running away up to her spot in the bedroom to reflect on her lot in life.

Lexie, on the other paw, takes everything in stride and enjoys playing with the kittens. They are no longer afraid of her and touch noses and bat at her tail.

My husband is going in to work for a while today (on a Sunday). So I plan to spend the afternoon with Johnny. You know....Johnny Depp. Just got the DVD from Netflix for Pirates of the Caribbean, On Stranger Tides.  I think I shall be afloat on a sea of happiness! (lol....don't worry, my husband knows I have a thing for Mr. Depp)

Isn't it just hilarious when cats and dogs mingle and treat each other with gentleness? Poor Gwennie! Our Salem feels her pain, she took just can't understand why we have cats! ;)

Enjoy the afternoon with Mr. Depp!

Sounds like a great plan to me! Nothing like a little Johnny Depp to warm up the house! LOL!

We had nothing but rain here all last week, but luckily the weekend was pretty nice!!!

Blessings,

Kim

Johnny is perfect for a rainy day, well any day really. I loved him in the movie :Chocolat". Enjoy the rain and Johnny and kiss all your furbabies.

Much the same weather here today, slightly colder though :-)

Thankfully all my dogs loves my cats even if Nova does play a bit too tough with them sometimes, but she will every now and again pay the price :-)

Have a great day and I liked that movie even if I perhaps don't care that much for Johnny Depp :-)

yummy perfect just love Johnny!

I love the idealist photo going around the web of Johnny that says

“There are four questions of value in life... What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same. Only love.”

Oh poor Gwennie. When we brought Herger home we had a sweet dog who just refused to acknowledge him. We could pay the kitten right in front of her and she would turn her entire body around. It was like, if Piper could not see the kitten, he did not exist. lol Maybe Lexie can help Gwennie cope. ;-)

Enjoy Johnny. Num, num, num. Hugs, my lovely friend. Mina

Robin...just checking in on you tonight and catching up reading. Good to see you snuggled with Mr. Depp. :)

Our critters can be so funny, can't they? I sure miss my days of having them around to watch their personalities and antics as they played. I can now live vicariously through Blogger and all the folds who post such loving words and photos of theirs.

Wishing for you Sweet Dreams and Flying on your Broomstick! :)
