Evergreens

A delay in my brother's homecoming from the hospital. One more week. Nothing serious; scheduling an appointment with a primary care physician took longer than expected. So next Thursday. Disappointing for him, as he was so looking forward to coming home today.

Snow and sleet has found its way to us. Dresses the evergreens around the neighborhood in festive style, but it makes for sloppy driving.

Speaking of evergreens: From Dorothy Morrison's book, Yule:  "Never throw away decorations made of evergreens; they must be burned to ensure good luck (with the exception of holly)."

Well, Ringo the canary is singing, the dogs are anxious to play in the inch of snow that has fallen so far and the morning is dwindling away here. Enjoy your day!

A snow storm is on its way and the winds are nasty cold at the moment. But itä'll change towards warm winds and then the already awful roads will be even worse :-) :-)

To bad about Your briother having to wait one more week, but at least he will be home for Yule.

Have a great day!
Christer.

Wow! I can't believe that you guys got snow and ice already! We had that first heavy, damaging-the-electrical-lines" snow a month ago, but so far mostly rain here in eastern PA.

Sorry to hear about your brother having to wait a little longer to come home. The good news is he will be home for the holidays!!!

Hugs,

Kim

I just hate that for your brother. I hope the next week goes quickly for him.
