Not Stressed, but Not Exactly Relaxed!

Well....my Yule Tree! The tiny colored rice lights will not stay lit! The white lights that I placed deep inside the tree are lit,and glowing nicely. These colored lights just wink out. Which means I can not decorate the tree until this light problem is worked out. Grr.

So I want to write my Yule cards. I already secured the postage stamps. I have my address list. Now I can not find the Cards! Grr.

Okay. Breathe. I have said I am not going to get stressed about the holidays. Of course four and a half feet of snow has not exactly made running errands easy. Shopping list is a little behind. Grr...but breathe.

Might I interest you in some delicious holiday cookies? Sorry, havent baked any yet! Too busy messing with lights and looking for Yule cards.

Okay. Focus. Center. Breathe. Cup of tea. Some nice incense. Peace and love. Pretty, pretty snow. grr.

Gosh, I know exactly how you are feeling. Have gone through much the same myself getting ready for this Christmas. I had a few packages to get in the mail...so I would get the items out to wrap...can't find the tape. Go to the store to buy tape, come home and wrap, then not enough mailers. Back to the store....etc. However, I did not have to deal with all that snow.

Don't worry, if it comes down to the line, I'll help you out with the cookies! :D

Don't be stressed you're doin great; just let Gwennie out and tell her there's a squirrel and watch her burrow around in the snow trying to find it, that should be amusing, hehe.

Yes, amusing indeed, dear raethan. Gwennie and Lexie always bring a smile. Thanks for the offer to help with cookies. All will be well!!

Yes, it's the most wonderful time of the year again! I have one more package to mail, so it's not bad if you don't count the ever increasing number of house guests that I am going to have - nice to see them, but what about my routine?????? In other words, I hear ya. Have a cup of Wassail.

might I suggest two things. First, don't sing let it snow anymore! second, hook Gwennie and Lexi to a sled to do your shopping. Of course you'll never make it to the store since every squirrel, dog, cat, interesting smells will distract them. but at least it would get your mind off the lights, the cookies, the cards. oh well its just an idea. As long as you make the Chocolate thumb prints who cares about the other cookies?
